Travelling to Druskininkai with a tent, campervan or caravan? You can choose a serviced campsite in town, a simple private lakeside pitch, or a nature-focused base near Merkinė. Electricity, showers, cooking facilities and prices differ, so it is worth comparing the details before booking.

Prices and facilities checked against published operator information on 22 September 2026. Camping is seasonal; confirm the total for your dates and party directly before travelling.

Druskininkai Campsite: serviced camping in town

The official Druskininkai Campsite is at Gardino g. 3A. It has 40 pitches, approximately 60–100 m² each, with electricity and water connections, plus ten camping cabins. Campers can use a shared kitchen, showers and toilets. Wi-Fi is available near reception, and the operator lists grills, gazebos, sports courts and an on-site café. K. Dineika Wellness Park is next door.

Under the published 2026 tariff, a tent pitch costs €10 per night plus €8 per adult or €5 per child aged 3–13. That makes €26 for two adults and one tent before the resort fee. A connected camper or caravan pitch costs €30 for one or two people; extra adults are €8 and children €5. A cabin for one or two costs €40 per night for stays up to six nights, or €35 for seven nights or longer. Pets cost €5 per night and washing-machine use €6. The published resort fee is an additional €2 per adult per night.

The normal season is 1 May–30 September. The operator says off-season camper stays may be possible by arrangement on +370 614 70250. General contact: +370 313 60800 or camping@druskininkai.lt. Confirm the pitch, availability and any extras before arrival.

Latežeris: a simpler lakeside stay

A private campsite listing describes an 11-are site beside Lake Latežeris, about 6 km from Druskininkai. Facilities listed include a jetty, covered seating, fire pit, barbecue equipment and an outdoor bio-toilet. Campers and pets are accepted. There is no on-pitch electrical hook-up; small devices can reportedly be charged at the owner’s nearby homestead. Hot showers and a kitchen are not listed.

The listing was last updated 5 December 2025, so its prices are not a confirmed 2026 tariff. It gives a €20 fixed site charge plus €10 per tent per night Sunday–Thursday or €20 Friday–Saturday. For one tent, that suggests €30 on a weekday or €40 on a weekend night if the terms still apply. The listing specifies a two-night weekend minimum. Firewood and boat hire cost extra. Merkinė: a base for Dzūkija National Park

The Merkinė Ornithological Centre campsite is roughly 30 km from Druskininkai and 3 km from Merkinė centre. It lies between two small lakes beside the Mergelės akelių nature trail. The national-park authority lists ten camper places, tent space, showers and toilets. The building has 15 indoor beds and a shared kitchen, but check whether outdoor guests may use that kitchen.

On its page updated 15 April 2026, the authority lists €12 per camper, €2 per tent and €5 per person for infrastructure. It does not provide a worked total, so ask how these charges combine. Indoor beds are listed at €24 per person. Advance registration is requested: +370 672 44346.

A woodland clearing is not automatically a legal place to camp. The Dzūkija National Park visitor rules say tents, overnight stays and fires are allowed only in designated places. Check the current park map, use established sites and take rubbish away.

Which site should you choose?

Choose Druskininkai Campsite for hot showers, a kitchen, electricity and easy access to town. Choose Latežeris for a quieter lake setting if you are comfortable with basic facilities and have confirmed its current rate. Choose Merkinė if trails and the national park are the main purpose of your stay.

If the weather turns wet or you would prefer a proper bed and private kitchen, Domi Lini apartments offer a self-catering alternative in Druskininkai. Published rates are a planning guide, not a live booking quote.
