It started as a small initiative by a few enthusiasts and it grew to a solid tradition. Small-scale family farmers from Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and Ukraine gather every year in Druskininkai to display a wide range of unique and delicious handmade cheeses at annual Cheese Festival!

Celebrate this ancient and traditional craft, enjoy some truly distinguished flavours and let new culinary adventures begin! In 2019 festival includes tasting sessions, workshop for kids, farmers’s fair and cheese contest. The jury of 8 experts will select the Grand Prix. The winner will travel to the international small-scale cheese festival Cheese 2019, which will take place in Bra,Italy theinvitation comes from Italian ‘Slow Food’ association.
